Module 2: Cartography

 For the second module of this course, creating an inset map was a crucial factor in order to display the location of Escambia County, relative to other counties in the state of Florida, and the location of UWF's campus. Having very minimal GIS experience, creating an inset map was a bit intimidating because of the fear I had of messing up the smaller map frame located on the top right. Fortunately, I was able to maintain the scaling throughout the lab. For the coloring of the map, I decided that the smaller map frame would be a darker grey that stood out, but didn't take away the focus from UWF's campus location. Since the neighboring counties on the larger map frame were irrevelant, no color fill would allow the smaller map frame to blend in and highlight Escambia County.
